Area Health Education Library

The AHEC Library is located in Sparks Regional Medical Center and serves as an excellent resource for research for the entire medical community.  The library is linked to the UAMS library in Little Rock and to medical libraries nationwide for quick access to any medical materials needed. Computer links enable the resident or student to access abstracts from journals published worldwide. Also, each resident receives a subscription to MDConsult to access medical information from home. You also have access to UpToDate at Sparks hospital. Two full-time librarians are on staff to assist with searches and retrieval of materials.
